Harsh Nature

Saturday, January 17, 2009

I dreamed last night
about lions and gazelles.
The gazelles had banded together
and filed a claim with the lion administration.
"We demand protection," they said.
"It's our right to graze freely without fear of harm," they said.
The lions look at the grievance
growled
and returned to feeding on the dead gazelle in front of them.
